The owners did away with the bartender altogether and instead make it possible for customers to serve themselves from one of 45 private mini-bar fridge. They wanted the experience to be more like to invite your friends to hang out in a cool hotel room, than to stand in line waiting for a drink at a regular bar.
When you come in, just to check in at the front desk, they give you the key to your own fridge russell hobbs and you can serve yourself. A credit card or ID card provided upon check-in and returned after the payment of the bill.
