Often, especially when staying at a business hotel, so are the prices in the mini bar in hotel rooms ridiculously expensive in China. Even if you have western wallet can sometimes be reluctant to buy something even if you fancy a beer (and not bothered to go down to the bar) because of the sometimes bizarre prices in the minibar. The difference is great if you live in a hotel that is not directed at Westerners or buinessfolk. If you live in a "normal" tourist hotels in China is dramatically lower pricing. miele vacuum A "middle class Chinese" is usually very price conscious and sales would be non-existent with nonsense prices. A beer or a soft drink costs in this environment just RMB (= USD), and a bottle of water are often cheaper than what the tourist manages miele vacuum to buy it on the street outside. Cushy.

Ha Ha - no, I did not think, but it was really fun! I can clarify the fun for those who do not know the language: After eg CocaCola it says "(listen)" ie "listen" in English. The character for "jar" is "听" which also happens to be the same as the character for listening. Typical stupid 'Google translate' mistakes. ;-) Reply Delete
