Commitment to The Leading Private School of Accounting has always been a grip in any lectures in the Faculty of Business & Information teknlogi (faculty of Information Technology & Business / FITB) UTY especially Accounting courses. The progress of time and technology always followed by efforts to increase the competence that every graduate of Accounting UTY have competency and skills blendr in accordance with the current conditions, both in terms of the faculty and students. Faculty competence is enhanced through further study, training, research, and one result is to have two lecturers blendr are Prof. professor of Accounting degree. Bambang Hartadi, PhD, MM, CPA, CA and Prof. Revelation Emita Astami, MBA, PhD, Akt, and was quickly followed by another lecturer who is currently proceeding to achieve the highest academic degree. blendr Accounting professors of special UTY is purely born from UTY, in other words not retired / transferred from another college professor given the difficulty degree. In addition, on December 3 to May 5, 2014, Prodi will send UTY Accounting Accounting lecturer, Dr. Junaidi, M.Sc., Akt., And UTY Accounting student, Tom Yulianto to Turkey to attend the Conference of BKR International, where KAP (Public Accounting Office) dbsd & A which is one of the support units UTY be BKR International's member firm. Not to mention the cooperation with foreign universities such as the Zagreb School blendr of Accounting, Budaphest School of Economics, blendr Curtin University in Australia, USM Malaysia, UMP Malaysia, University of Malaya (Malaysia), blendr then co-operation with the FSA (Financial Services blendr Authority), Indonesian Institute of Accountants , Ministry blendr of Finance, and other institutions further strengthen the position of Accounting UTY study program that has been accredited for 15 years and the longest in Yogyakarta.
On the other hand improving the competence of students is conducted through the course material is constantly updated, and discussions, seminars and workshops to deepen expertise. One of the discussions was on April 19, 2014 in the Campus 1 UTY, the theme of the latest topics: Financial Shenanigans, Final Accounting & Going Concern, in cooperation blendr with KAP (Public Accounting Office) dbsd & A - member firm of BKR International, Newyork. Topics of discussion delivered by prof. Bambang Hartadi, PhD, MM, CPA, CA, and at the same lecturer UTY Accounting Firm Partners dbsd & A, which is accompanied by the manager and a representative KAP dbsd Yogyakarta. The event was hosted by Happy Tarin, M.Si, CA, one of the participants of the Firm Manager Accounting students from Classes Featured UTY will soon graduate and one of the UTY Accounting lecturer, Dr. Junaidi, M.Sc., Akt.
In his presentation, Prof.. Bambang Hartadi, PhD, MM, CPA, CA said that the Financial Shenanigans, Final Accounting & Going Concern are interrelated since led to the operational continuity of the company. The term "Shenanigans" was first used around 1850 in California, and then used as a term in financial management to describe negative actions, namely financial manipulation. In the last decade blendr we saw a lot of financial shenanigans both domestically and abroad, the case of the most horrendous financial shenanigans is the Enron scandal (leading energy companies) are leading the world involving the firm Arthur Andersen and led to the dissolution of both the entity's business world, while from the inside country is Bank Summa in 1998 which happens to be one object dissertation.
